The Ruby National Championships were held this weekend and the results are as follows:
Rubies: 1st Place
Onyx: 2nd Place
Saphires: 1st Place (this is the team Meelie is on!)
(Side Note: Each of these teams are in a different level)

It's a bit crazy around here this week so the posting has been light the last few days. In the mean time I wanted to share with you that I have found out that I really need my hearing to be checked. Quite often, I listen to the radio station (ok all the time) that my kids like. There is a song entitled "Apple bottom Jeans" (I believe it's by Flow Rider according to Chickie-please correct me if I'm wrong). According to the kids, I continually screw up the lyrics. Here is an example.
Lyrics: Apple Bottom Jeans
I hear: Apple Butt Cheeks
Lyrics: Pornography Poster
I hear: Pornography Toaster
I'll be making a doctor's appointment soon.
In the mean time, here is a photo of the SAPHIRES holding the first place trophy. Everyone got a chance to hold it if they wanted to.

Congratulations Meelie :) and Moogie dear no you don't need your hearing checked it's called selective hearing with automatic lyric adjustment - your mind is "somewhere" and the lyrics reflect that....
