Looks like we have some good teachers this year. The kids are stoked, and quite frankly, so am I. I'm hoping that this year will be a bit easier on the nasty teacher score.

We've informed the kids that we will be cracking down pretty hard on them this year. In the past, we've kind of let them slide by, for lack of a better term. They have always done pretty good, but I want them to learn what it is like to apply themselves. The funny thing is, Chickie asked me to "crack down" on her really hard because she is "going in to high school the next year and needs to be prepared." Her words exactly. Now, how long will this attitude last? Any takers?

I survived my first day back to work after a blissful week and a half off. It wasn't as bad as I expected, but it was so hard to get out of bed this morning. This whole 4:30 (O'Dark Thirty) thing stinks worse than my feet.

That's about all I have to say for now. I'll leave you with a couple of pictures from the "World's Biggest Pool" in the extended entry.

*hugs* yeah getting back to work after a holiday always sucks Im only a few hours behind ya in when I have to get up a slightly (but only just) more respectable 6:30. As for chickie's attitude we'll just have to wait and see I believe she'll keep this one up for most of the year only wish less by next April / May time, mellie might be the harder one to "crack down on". Oh and that pool is just a little pool :P Oh and as for bad feet sorry can't help you there :D

It's always hard going back to work, especially getting up so early! Glad you enjoyed your time off though :)
