Last night, my wife and I were sitting in the living room and I said to her, "I never want to live in a vegetative state, dependant on some machine and living off fluids from a bottle. If that ever happens, just pull the plug." She got up and unplugged the TV and threw out my beer. She's such a Bitch . . . . . . .

I like this joke, Moogie. I've seen it many times but I always think it's funny. Now I wonder if I saw a video of a woman tossing out the beer and tv would I still think it's funny? I bet I wouldn't 'cause they had skits like that on Hee-Haw way back when I was a kid and I didn't think those were funny either. Weird.

merely a coincidence, I am sure, that I have not had television in my home for YEARS, and stopped drinking beer ( for medication reasons)
I think both hold back industry and creativity.

Whenever I read funnies like this, I thank God that my life took the turns that it did. I barely watch TV, hate beer, and got to marry a dream of a wife. With that in mind, I often wonder whether my life will ever be the butt of jokes like this.
Probably not. I'll need to find a new diversion, then.
