I am fortunate enough to have children who get along the majority of the time. But I feel the need to admit, that the part of the time they do not get along, I want to move out. If you think I am kidding, you should have been at my house tonight.
As much as I love this big guy, there are times that I would love to send him to his room as well. For the love of Paul and all that is holy, just who is the adult here? He gives good snuggle and takes out the trash. It makes it easier to overlook most of the other stuff.
"March that ugly face into your room and don't bother to come out until your pretty face is back on!" You know the saying, if I had a dime for every time I said that, then I would be a millionaire. Or at least have enough money to get my own apartment where there would be no children allowed.
Yes, it was one of those.
The thing that gets me the most, is that after all of the door slamming, I hate you, NO's later, my oldest child happily went off to Pointe class and I have been cursed blessed with listening to my youngest play Hot Cross Buns on the recorder for the last hour. I timed it. I am now listening to it for the eleventy gazillionth time. I remember when my oldest played the same song, as many times, on the same instrument.
God must have a sadistic sense of humor because, while my eyes are going and my body is failing, my hearing is still intact.
All I can say to you is that it's a good thing they are so cute when they are asleep.
Ok, now it's your turn. What sayings do you tend to repeat? Would you be a millionaire?

failing :P
Hi Moogies, I know exactly what you mean, I've witnessed it - the slamming of doors the I HATE YOU etc.. Even through walls it's no fun.
I suggest ya bring back the Naughty seat / corner / area for all the "KIDS" the big ones as well :D
My saying would have to be "if I had a pound for ever time I've heard that I'd be well off" in reply to something that's often said etc..

Oh, I SO feel your pain! Would it be really, really awful to admit that I actually have resorted to ear plugs to drown out the commotion when I need to concentrate??
