I was just informed that Meelie (who now wants to be called Squirrel on this blog) needs to bring a snack for the whole class for the big "Pajama Party" tomorrow. She has picked out the pajamas, layed out the robe (she has to wear tennis shoes) and is set to go.

She just needs the "snack."

First off, why don't I get to wear pajamas to work? And secondly? What the heck am I going to make for the snack?

Dear Betty Crocker,

I love you.

Moogie

PS: To the teachers of Meelie the Squirrel (if you see how she squirms while sitting you will understand why I find this to be funny). I know you are busy. But do you think that you could give me a little more notice about the whole "snack" thing? I love my daughter very much. I realize you probably told the whole entire class about this at the beginning of the week. You need to understand that The Squirrel has memory issues. She has none.

PPS: Do you think you can keep the recorder at school during Thanksgiving vacation? There will be an extra brownie in it for you.

I have a child without a memory. I have literally heard, "I need $25.00 for pictures today" 10 minutes before the bus comes.

Oh dear!! Memory loss at such a young age!!

Michele sent me over today...Hi!

My son also had "memory issues' when he was younger. If I was you I would go to the grocery store bakery for a snack for the kids.

That is how it is with my kids too. Until middle school, our neighbor girl was in the same elementary classes as my oldest son. It was awesome, because she ALWAYS had the scoop. If I needed to know something, I could ask her. :)

Michele sent me!

My little monsterboy is the same way, and he also has all the drama to go with it...You'd think that the school would fall apart if we don't get the pencils the teacher asked for IMMEDIATELY after he's told me about it. (Which is also as we're on the way to school the same day that the teacher needs them by - thank you, Wagreens!) Giant pretzels are good snacks for kids at school, BTW.

Moogie you are remembering to wind the key at the back aren't you the one marked "memory reserve power"..

I so desperately wish I could wear jammies to work. I sort of do when I work from home, but that doesn't really count.

I often kick off my shoes and wear just my socks. I presume that doesn't count much.

Hi from Michele's. I reckon you're going to start charging me a visitor's fee soon.

I too have one of those Lack of Memory children. I so wish the teachers could just by-pass the kids all together and send stuff like that directly to us.

I have been checking out your Blog and I'm really enjoying it!

Stop by mine whenever you get a chance.
