Tammi posted a question about what are some of the things that our husbands do as a normal, every day routine type of thing, that make us hot (hi Mom!).
While I can say that the image above (OWW cleaning out the garbage can) does not make my bosoms heave, or my thighs throb, it does bring me a great sense of relief. Because this means I don't have to do it. And that is enough to make this southern belle swoon.
But wait! He dices! He slices! And he makes really good waffles.
He handles most of the laundry, which is a daunting task. The man can fold anything so well that you don't see any wrinkles (think iron free!) when you put it on.
He's very involved in his daughter's lives. He is a most excellent father. He's not afraid to have fun with them, or to participate in fun directed at him. He loves to teach them stuff. He lets them ride in the trailer behind him when he mows the lawn. He teaches them about football and they love watching it with him.
He takes care of me. He let's me know every day how much he loves me. He supports me in my career. He moved across the country with me because he believed in me, and felt this would be a great opportunity.
He does the dishes, because I cook, and he believes he is getting the better end of the deal. He lets me experiment when I cook, and in fact encourages it. Sorry about the Szechwan beef honey.
There are so many things about him that make my heart pound.
But I think that it all centers on the fact that I am safe and secure in the knowledge that he loves me.
And I? Love him right back.

If I was a less humble individual, I'd blush.
Instead, I'll point out a most sensible, a most logical reason I allow all this adoration to flow my way.
I'm fortunate enough to live with one of the great cooks in the Americas, if not the Western world. I have a twenty pound weight problem, and I. Don't. Care.
"Yo! Just how stoopit do I really look?"
I Love You Too, Sweetheart...
And thoseof you who think such a sicky-sweet emotion should be dragged off and shot, "Nerts to you, knot-head!"

This post is awesome. I think it is wonderful! You have a beautiful marriage, one to be very proud of.
LOL at catfish joke. I have one that is why men are not secretaries.
Husband's note on refrigerator to his wife: "Someone from the Guyna Colleges called. They said the Pabst beer is normal."
Your daughter is beautiful. Great Picture.
I am a veteran of the USAF. I liked your post very much. It is important to recognize and support those keeping our freedom secure. This post said it very well.
Can you tell I was 4 posts behind?
Have a wonderful day!

Is he underwater?
I've seen Florida real estate ads that read like this.
Seriously, it's a delight to see someone so treasured. I wish you both joy.
