Thirteen Things I Remember as a Teenager (some are back in style)
What do you remember as being popular when you were a teen? I know that I'll be dating myself, but that's ok, they say that age is a state of mind. If you don't mind, it doesn't matter (ba-dum-bum).

- Bell bottoms, with cuffs
- Big hoop earrings
- Dittos (type of jeans)
- Farah Faucet hairdo
- Mood rings
- Angel Sleeved Blouses (loose cut oversized blouses with bell bottom sleeves)
- Clogs
- Corduroy
- Cutoff Denim Shorts
- Disco
- Puka shells
- Ponchos

I remember all those things! But I think I'm a bit older than you because it seems like I was in my early 20's.

I started noticing this too...what I saw that I remembered was gauchos and those lace shirts...man it makes me feel old. :-)

Seriously, these things are retro for a reason. Old fashions should NEVER come back in style. :) Like those bad 80s pallazo (sp?) pants. ha.

Love the list Moogie!! And remember them all quite well.....but wait!!!! Those fashions were in with my DAUGHTER!!!! So, let's see, hmmmmmmmmm, I think for me it would have been knickers and bustles? Ya, that was back in MY DAY. (just kidding) Ya know, I can only remember one that was really in the 50's --those felt skirts with poodles on them. Did you ever see those on your mom maybe? In pictures?

OH! Mood rings!! I LOVED those thing!
I remember thinking I was hot stuff in plaid capris. I used to SWEAR you would never, ever, catch me in those things again!
Of course now, that's all I wear. *grin*

For me, it was more Debbie Gibson and folded up jeans at the ankle...what was that style called? Can't remember for the life of me, but it was so dumb looking back! Oh, and cut-off jean shorts, and Timberlands...ahh, those were the days. (eek!)
