Thirteen Things About Moogie
- On May 21st, I will be married for 18 years. If it is possible, I'm happier and more in love than the day I said "I do."
- I have little to no self confidence.
- I am, by nature, a workaholic, but my family still comes first.
- On my 18th birthday, I was in an automobile accident. It was my fault. Since then, I have always worn my seat belt, even for short distances. The paramedics told me I wouldn't have been injured if I was wearing one.
- I love to cook and am good at it (so says my husband). I rarely use a recipe, and if I do, I tend to modify it as I go. I like to make things up.
- I hate vegetables for the most part. I need to eat more of them to keep my diet balanced.
- Speaking of diet, I have lost 18 pounds so far, and have done it slowly. It isn't too bad as I have to completely avoid fatty foods, and make sure my intake of fiber is high. It's good stuff and so fun to feel how loose my clothes are becomming.
- I am very fortunate to have the parents I have. I love them dearly, and don't get to visit/talk to them on the phone nearly enough. I consider them not only my parents, but my best friends.
- I am the youngest of three children and the only daughter. To this day, I have no idea why I am close to both of my brothers and they are still talking to me.
- I love to go to the movies with my girls. I really enjoy kids flicks and I have no problem admitting that. My husband doesn't like it so much, so I'm more than happy to take them.
- I still have not gone back to Curves, and am a bit nervous about doing so. I am planning, if things keep on going the way they are, to start back up again Monday, but take it slow.
- I went through infertility treatments to have both of my children. I wasn't supposed to be able to have the 2nd. All of it was well worth it, and I have no regrets.

Happy Anniversary! Congrats on the 18 lbs! I think losing it slowly is best. I need to get myself back on that diet wagon.
#5 - that's my dad. My dad can whip up anything - I wish I got that trait! Although I do love to cook and look at recipes. I think I'm scared I'll mess it up. I would say you're pretty confident in that department! ;)

No / little Self Confidance ya could have fooled me, although Im probably the same I just manage to "look good".
#12 - would never have know that, what can I say chickie and mellie are perfect, If I came over I don't think I'd know who to hug to bits first, you or one of the kids, I'd probably try to get you all at once and end up getting flatted by all 3 of ya and the dogs maybe..

First: Happy Anniversary. 18 years! That's wonderful!
I am working on gaining more self confidence, because that's a big issue for me too. Actually I almost did a "13 things I like about myself" today, but was afraid I couldn't come up with 13! LOL Maybe next week.
That's great about you losing weight. I got on the scale this morning and went from the one-hundred-something-nine to the next number - which put me up into the next 10. Ugh. I hate those kinds of milestones. I need to eat better, cut out the fried food and overeating, and take a walk every day, and I'm sure the weight would come off. Oh yeah, and stop eating candy.
I took fertility pills to become pregnant with my son. We had one baby, four miscarriages, and adopted Jen. We really didn't think that we'd ever have another. Then with the help of the fertility pills and hormone shots, we were blessed with our son. Isn't modern technology amazing?
Happy Thursday!!
My 13 is up now too.
