To all of the Men and Women who risk their lives to protect us and our freedom, and to those who have served before, I thank you. You will forever in my heart. May God bless you and keep you safe.

To all of you who are playing this week, leave a comment with your link so others can come and visit you. If you're not playing, go ahead and leave a comment anyway. I'd love to hear from you! Happy Memorial Day everyone!

Comments

Glad you got your comments fixed :) I thought it was odd for you to not have any and then when I tried and it wasn't working, I knew why you didn't have any ;)

Is that flag on your house? We had one but it became very weathered and I've yet to replace it. For now, we just have a small one but it's pretty darn weathered, too! Ugh. LOL

Americana at it's best.

Thanks for remembering our soldiers and rescue workers today.

I'm finally up. Pam

Good that your comment is working now :-)

And no problem , of course I had to tell you about it. It would have been a waste if nobody could comment. (I sure would have wanted some one to tell me!)

Great choice for the theme this week. I've got to see a lot of american flags this week and I rarely ever see any over here *lol*

(Though i did take a similar photo as yours the only time I've been in U.S.!)

I always want to hang my flag year round, but only bring it out on the appropriate holidays.

Well if this was taken today, it's sunny and beautiful out, unlike up in Canada. But it is a good day to stop and think about those people.

Great photo. I'm seeing lots of Flags today. :)

Ex pat ... All of Canada isn't gloomy, it's Sunny here in Toronto ... but that's 2000 miles away from where you are. :)

Nice picture for red white and blue. Our neighborhood is lined with flags. You pay the city a certain ammount and they'll put it up in your yard on patriotic holidays. It looks really nice when the whole neighborhood has them.

Amen to that. Thank you for honoring those who served this country and their families.
