I believe that the folks in charge of the water around here have been secretly introducing a growth hormone. The by-product of this is that children who were 4' 7", sprout to 5' 4" by the next morning. At these times I am forced to fashion a toga out of a bed sheet in order to send them to school clothed.
This type of thing normally occurs when I have just replenished their entire wardrobe because all pants end just above the ankles, and the shirt sleeves are so tight they cut off circulation and cause their hands to turn blue.
Please don't get me started on the shoes.

How funny! Kids do seem to grow quickly...and definitely right after getting all new clothes. *s*

I'm waiting for that to happen here too. It never fails, just when I think we are set for clothes POOF! Time for yet another wardrobe.

You know... we used to have this problem in OUR community! And then all of a sudden one day ( i think about the time my youngest hit 16 ) it just stopped. Must have been the new commissioners! ;)

I don't think that either of my kids ever wore anything out - just outgrew it - what a waste!

Hi sweetie....Yes, it did seem that elves were coming out of their closets while the kids slept, and pulling on their arms and legs, making them taller over night...I had 3 sons, and they never had hand-me-downs because they wore their clothes out on their own! I am just starting TT and Wordless Weds, perhaps next week...
