Main Entry: bore·dom

Pronunciation: 'bOr-d&m, 'bor-

Function: noun
: the state of being weary and restless through lack of interest

And you wonder, what does one do when they hear the following:

Moooom, we're bored! Ok kids, I guess that means I can empty all of the toys out of your bedroom and toy chest now because obvously they are only taking up room.

As you can imagine, that did not go over well. So what does a mom do when she finds herself in a situation where SEVEN kids are all bored at once? And no, I don't kick them out most of the time, I totally LOVE having them around. And yes, the drugs are working just fine thanks.

She brings out her camera! Why? Hello? What kid cannot resist posing for the camera? Ever try to get them to not post and just do their thing? Easier said that done. The pictures in the extended entry will give you a bit of both.

I'd say they are no longer bored. For now.

Hi. I saw your link on your guest spot on FTS blog. Kids love getting their pictures taken and taking the pictures. Especially with digital.

Here is a link to a cool song my wife found that I think fits.

That's great. Same for my kids. They love to pose.

Great pics! Isn't it amazing how we were never bored when we were kids and didn't have half of their "stuff?"

That looks like my place most of the time. At any given moment there's at least 6 of them playing here! I love it though, because at least I know where they are and what they're doing! I gave them the video camera once, and they stayed buy for hours making a play!!!

Those are really great pictures. Kids become completely different people in front of a camera.
