Tuesday, December 27

I'm on the verge of a panic attack and that doesn't happen to me easily. I'm getting ready to go out of town for a week. I've been gathering things together, making sure we have all of the appropriate gifts and wedding attire. I'm seriously behind on my laundry but that's not a big deal, right? I've sorted all the clothes (quite a few loads worth), and hauled them out to the garage.

Someone worker ran over a water pipe and busted it. My entire street has no water. No water means that the washing machine does not work. This in turn puts a halt to my laundry. Please slap me around so that I will feel better when you stop.

The estimated up time is about an hour. It's already been down for about an hour and a half.

Carry on. Thank you for letting me vent.

Rush to the nearest thrift store and buy new clothes. The laundry won't go away while you're gone. Next problem?

Take a deep breath... and calmly close the garage door behind you. The heck with the laundry, it can wait.
