Ok, the upper teeth are now fixed and feeling mighty smooth. I can really tell the difference. My jaw is rather sore, but I'm given to understand that when they work on the lower back two teeth, it's going to be worse. That will be when they ready one tooth for a crown (and put a partial in) and bond the one next to it because parts of it have broken off.
Ok, now I can relax for a while. Truth be told, and I hope this helps me in the future, it wasn't really bad. I had quite a bit of sensitivity in my upper teeth, so they had to numb me. I really didn't feel the shot at all, which suprised, and pleased me greatly.
So, I got through phase I, I'm still alive, and nothing untoward happened. Phew.
I'm set for a couple of weeks, until I move into Phase II.
Now that I have that behind me, I want to make sure that all of you have changed your links (if you link to him) from the old OWW, to his new home at Swamp Gas. And if you don't link him now, what are you waiting for? I've still got a lot of work to do on that site, but at least he's functional. Please let me know if you see something that doesn't work, or look right. I still have to work on the masthead. It's just not there yet. I'm not terribly artistic, so I think this will take some work.
For those of you who don't know, this is my husband's blog. Go on over and say hi. Tell him I sent you. He's feeling a might bit lonely.
I want to thank all of you who posted comments, and emailed me with humorous stories during my dental saga. You have no clue how much that really helped.

Sorry I missed the boat on trying to cheer you up pre-surgery. I could have told you about getting my wisdom teeth pulled on my 19th birthday (the curse of having a three-day weekend around my bday). Yippee!

Glad it's over and that it wasn't too bad. Now you can enjoy the three day weekend...

I am so sorry I missed the whole thing. I've been so preoccupied with family stuff - sick father in a distant city - that i've let everything else kind of lapse.
I'm glad to hear you're feeling better, and my thoughts are with you as you continue the journey.
Now I'll go say hi to your husband. Enjoy the rest of the long weekend!

Gotta take care of those chompers :) i hate going to the dentist too, but of course the longer I put it off the worse it gets. Ah well... I guess one day I'll have to bite the bullet again :)
