Have you ever been on the freeway and suddenly found yourself on an exit ramp and you're not quite sure if it's the right one?
I hate it when that happens, don't you?
It's as if your mind is a million miles away. Most of the time, I couldn't tell you what I was thinking about. Everything is so automatic at times.
I do that type of thing alot. I'll walk into the room, and stand there wondering what the heck I am there for. I'll start to ask a question, only to have it slip my mind the moment I open my mouth.
I often wonder if I'm completely losing it.
Now what what I talking about?

I didn't think turnin' off the brain was a conscience act. Brain shutdown with me is more like breathin'... An involuntary matter...
BTW, I just saw your pictures from the blog meet. Which one's you? ;)

lol maybe it's a Mom thing? or just a silly woman thing so my husband tells me. But seriously, I encounter such moments quite frequently and it kind of scares me now and then. At times I'm simply able to realize I'm just slightly crazy and then it seems ok. When I walk into a room and forgot what it was I was about to say... I usually end up mixing the first two words I'm trying to say and sound really insane. Like ... bey haby? or something equally retarded. my poor family
ah poo, i say don't worry about it. prolly tons of us out there right? :)

I wish I could blame it all on having children, but I've been doing that for most of my life.
